Porque aqu\u00ed,<\/span> <b><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cPuedo amarme por lo que soy\u201d.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La enfermedad de Andy empez\u00f3 misteriosamente con extra\u00f1os s\u00edntomas neurol\u00f3gicos y dolores horribles. Fue enviado a la UCI con una importante inflamaci\u00f3n en el cerebro que le provoc\u00f3 convulsiones tan intensas que fue sometido a un coma prolongado para calmar su cerebro.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Cada diciembre, me acuerdo de este momento que cambi\u00f3 dr\u00e1sticamente nuestras vidas hace tres a\u00f1os. Las vacaciones eran siempre la \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o favorita de Andy y yo no sab\u00eda si alguna vez iba a despertar, o si siquiera podr\u00eda o\u00edrme decirle lo mucho que le quer\u00eda. Cuando Andy despert\u00f3 del coma susurr\u00f3: \u201cTe quiero, mam\u00e1\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">No sabemos qu\u00e9 le depara el futuro a Andy. Tuvo que volver a aprender muchas de sus habilidades vitales y sali\u00f3 del hospital en silla de ruedas. Nunca pens\u00e9 que Roundup River Ranch ser\u00eda una opci\u00f3n para \u00e9l durante el verano de 2019, pero Andy nos demostr\u00f3 que est\u00e1bamos equivocados. Sab\u00edamos que un Campamento de Verano de una semana era un gran paso adelante, y para Andy tener esta oportunidad de tener esta semana de alegr\u00eda, libertad y confianza - junto con una atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica excepcional... no tiene precio. Para experimentar todo esto de forma gratuita toma una preocupaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s de mi caja de preocupaciones.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Roundup River Ranch enriqueci\u00f3 la autoconciencia de Andy y la aceptaci\u00f3n de su condici\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Es capaz de identificar y articular cuando algo no va bien. Esto le ha dado la confianza necesaria para recuperar su vida. El pasado mes de octubre, Andy fue elegido por sus compa\u00f1eros de instituto como miembro de la realeza del baile de bienvenida.
