El 2 de julio de 2011, Roundup River Ranch abri\u00f3 las puertas de su campamento por primera vez y comenzamos a cumplir nuestra misi\u00f3n en el campus reci\u00e9n construido en el coraz\u00f3n de las Monta\u00f1as Rocosas a lo largo del r\u00edo Colorado.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Recuerdo ese d\u00eda como si fuera ayer. Esa ma\u00f1ana temprano, un director general de otro campamento de SeriousFun Children's Network nos llam\u00f3 para felicitarnos y nos dijo, \u201cS\u00f3lo se vive una vez el primer d\u00eda de apertura del campamento, as\u00ed que no dejes de pasear y asimilarlo todo y ver la alegr\u00eda en las caras de los ni\u00f1os\u2019.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> Recuerdo que sent\u00ed una incre\u00edble gratitud al saber que el futuro traer\u00eda a\u00f1os interminables de alegr\u00eda y conexi\u00f3n para miles de ni\u00f1os con enfermedades graves.<\/p>\n

Desde 2020, el campamento ha estado tranquilo. Pero, gracias a ti, hemos reunido a nuestros campistas y a sus familias para que vivan el campamento de formas nuevas y atractivas. Nuestro personal y los voluntarios han estado trabajando sin parar para proporcionar el poder curativo del campamento a los hogares, salas de hospital y pantallas de ordenador. Al mirar hacia el futuro, s\u00e9 que todos esperamos con impaciencia el d\u00eda en que los autobuses lleguen al campamento y los ni\u00f1os deshagan las maletas en sus caba\u00f1as. Es lo que hacemos. Es lo que necesitan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Estamos encantados de dar la bienvenida a los campistas de nuevo a nuestro campamento el pr\u00f3ximo verano - e igualmente encantados de seguir ofreciendo una amplia variedad de Camp Online durante todo el a\u00f1o y Programas de Extensi\u00f3n en 2022. A partir de hoy, gracias a donantes generosos desde hace mucho tiempo, hemos desbloqueado una donaci\u00f3n de contrapartida de $200.000 de la Frechette Family Foundation hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2021.
