Roundup River Ranch ha cambiado recientemente a un modelo dirigido por enfermeras. Las enfermeras desempe\u00f1an un papel fundamental en el funcionamiento del campamento, y este cambio lo reconoce. Este modelo garantiza una atenci\u00f3n excepcional para nuestros campistas y est\u00e1 en consonancia con la Red Infantil SeriousFun.<\/div>\n

Las enfermeras proporcionan la mayor\u00eda de los cuidados a nuestros campistas, con el apoyo continuo de proveedores y especialistas en cada sesi\u00f3n del campamento, \u00a1junto con nuestro director m\u00e9dico, el Dr. Benjamin Ross! En apoyo de este nuevo modelo, este a\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n hemos contratado a m\u00e1s personal m\u00e9dico en nuestro equipo estacional. Una gran parte de este cambio es el cambio en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os para tener enfermeras en las caba\u00f1as. Las enfermeras duermen en las caba\u00f1as, prestan atenci\u00f3n diaria y regular a los campistas y distribuyen la medicaci\u00f3n. Est\u00e1n totalmente integradas y se convierten en parte de la caba\u00f1a, lo que genera confianza y conexi\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

Est\u00e1n all\u00ed para realizar evaluaciones de enfermer\u00eda (\u00a1incluso hay m\u00e1quinas vitales en las cabinas!) y pueden prestar asistencia en ese mismo momento, incluso en mitad de la noche. Los proveedores siguen estando siempre de guardia y preparados, y los enfermeros est\u00e1n sobre el terreno como primera l\u00ednea de atenci\u00f3n, siempre en comunicaci\u00f3n con los proveedores.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Otra parte de este cambio es la incorporaci\u00f3n de enfermeras a nuestro Comit\u00e9 Asesor M\u00e9dico (MAC). Al tener enfermeras en el MAC, no s\u00f3lo tenemos una nueva v\u00eda para el reclutamiento de campistas y voluntarios, sino una voz para la atenci\u00f3n diaria en el campamento, ya que ahora tenemos nuestras enfermeras en las caba\u00f1as. En consonancia con nuestro plan estrat\u00e9gico organizativo, estamos ampliando el MAC para contar con la opini\u00f3n de todas las voces de la comunidad m\u00e9dica. Nos gustar\u00eda reconocer a nuestras enfermeras y enfermeros que se han unido a nuestro MAC: Jacquelyn Scarberry, Jenna Edwards, Sarah Linton, JT Thompson, Karen Hill NP, Molly Hemenway NP, Trish Eells NP y Emily Barr NP.\u00a0<\/div>\n
