What makes Roundup River Ranch so extraordinary?
We make campers with life-altering diagnoses feel like ordinary kids. Giggling, laughing, conspiring, arrow-shooting, horseback-riding, art-creating kids. We help campers and their families enjoy the gift of extraordinarily joyful moments, lasting friendships, newfound courage, and memories that remain long after the last s’more is devoured.

We`ve been working on something... BIG! 🫣 This summer, our Roundup the Possibilities Campaign successfully came to completion! 🥳 This Campaign raised an incredible $27.8 million to expand our campsite facilities, create new program areas, grow our endowment, and strengthen our capital reserves! 🧡🩵💛
Thanks to this Campaign, we have funded the construction of three new cabins, a unique low ropes course, a high ropes expansion, and a relaxing hammock village – all offering enhanced opportunities for campers and families. Construction is already underway, and our new cabins and program areas will officially open in summer 2026! 🛠️ 😍
We are enormously grateful for the generosity and dedication of our community, whose support powered this Campaign and made it one of the most historic moments in the life of Roundup River Ranch. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you for believing in the life-changing impact of camp and making this dream possible. 👏

The Spurs Program has already left its mark on camp! During their two weeks at Roundup River Ranch, the Spurs (Camper Alumni) decorated special benches to leave here. They worked to create a space for everyone here at camp, helping address the need for more large group seating as camp grows - while also leaving behind a legacy. The Spurs could be seen happily painting the benches at various times during their sessions, and the benches will stay at camp as a lasting reminder of this wonderful first group of camper alumni! We can’t wait to continue this program next summer! 💙

Thank you to this year’s seasonal staff who made our 2025 Summer Camp season so incredibly special. ☀️💕 Throughout the summer, this dynamic group became a family, forging strong friendships that created a warm and positive place for our campers. They brought this year’s theme, “You Belong Here,” to life by ensuring that all campers (and staff) felt like they were a part of the fun. 💗
We appreciate all you’ve done this year and miss you all so much. Go out from the Roundup and turn the world around! 🌎💘

We want to take a moment to share our deep gratitude for your kind words and support over the past week and a half. ❤ We are especially THANKFUL for the firefighters and emergency personnel who continue working tirelessly to keep our communities safe from the Derby Fire.
As of yesterday, crews have built 11 miles of control lines, and containment continues to improve, with significant progress expected in the coming days as teams work diligently to strengthen and widen those lines. With cooler weather and precipitation in the forecast this week, conditions remain favorable. We are in direct contact with Eagle County’s Emergency Management team, and our campsite currently remains in the lowest risk category designated by the county. The safety of our community remains our top priority, and we will provide updates should conditions change.
We are so appreciative of the dedication of everyone - from firefighters and emergency crews to community members - who have come together during this time.
We’re excited for an incredible fall season filled with more Outreach Programs and our upcoming Family Camps!

We were so excited to bring some camp magic to Children’s Hospital Colorado last week with a special Howdy Hangout! Patients and families enjoyed two fun-filled days of camp activities. Day 1 kicked off with a drum circle in Seacrest Studios, then moved to the lobby for karaoke, hair tinsel styling, superhero cape decorating, and even a trash bag fashion show!
Day 2 featured creative crafts like pool noodle horses and horseshoe wind chimes, plus line dancing lessons in Seacrest Studios. We wrapped up with an inflatable archery range and Hope Stars to close out the day, just like we do at Summer Camp. We also had
tables with information about camp for prospective volunteers and campers, and even grab-and-go craft kits for patients to enjoy at home or in their rooms.
Huge thanks to Children’s Hospital Colorado for partnering with us to spread joy and the spirit of camp all year round. We are excited to continue building on this success with other hospital partners! ❤️
