OUR SPRING APPEAL 100-DAY COUNTDOWN TO CAMP WAS A SUCCESS!

As we began our 100-day Countdown to Camp on February 25, our incredible community rallied together to ensure more children and families could experience The Power of Camp. By the end of the countdown on June 5 (the first day of Summer Camp!), supporters have helped send 102 campers to camp and raised more than $306,000 to make life-changing camp experiences possible for children with life-altering diagnoses and their families. Every gift ensures that more children living with life-altering diagnoses can experience a week where illness takes a backseat to childhood. Invest in the next 20 years of hope and joy. 

THANK YOU – A TASTE OF CAMP IN DENVER – (join us in 2027)!

Our signature gala brings a taste of camp to the city. We are overflowing with gratitude after an inspiring evening at A Taste of Camp on May 14. The evening was a powerful celebration of 20 years of camp and everything that makes it the life-changing place it is today. Thanks to everyone who attended, we strengthened the community that makes camp possible for children and families. Together, we raised $516,330!

A highlight of the evening was presenting the 2026 Superhero Award capes to the Younoszai Family. Watch their Superhero Award tribute video. Their commitment to camp reflects the very heart of camp and serves as a powerful example of what unfolds when a family leads with deep compassion and purpose. Additionally, we were proud to honor Alpine Bank as this year’s Community Champion recipient. For over 20 years, Alpine Bank has exemplified what it means to be a true community partner- providing not only financial support, but leadership, expertise, and heartfelt advocacy for children and families.

WE LOVED SEEING YOU AT COMMUNITY DAY AT CAMP – JUNE 14

What a wonderful day to celebrate 20 years! On June 14, we welcomed our community for a day filled with favorite camp activities, delicious food and tours of our beautiful campsite. Guests had the chance to explore exciting new program areas, including our new Low Ropes course and our second Zipline! Most of all, we enjoyed our 20th birthday with so many wonderful people! As we look back on the past two decades, we are filled with gratitude for the supporters, volunteers, donors, and families who have believed in our mission and helped us grow. Thank you for being part of our story – and for helping shape the next 20 years of camp.

TICKETS ON SALE FOR THE BULLSEYE ROUNDUP – THURSDAY, AUG. 13

Join us on Thursday, August 13th at 5:30 p.m. for our 4th annual The Bullseye Roundup at Lazy J Ranch in Wolcott, CO! Come with friends to enjoy cocktails, an archery competition, delicious food stations, live music, ranch activities, local vendors, a live auction, and more! This will be an evening full of camp-inspired fun with a Western flair.

CELEBRATE WITH US FOR A GRATEFUL HARVEST – SATURDAY, AUG. 15

2026 is a milestone year at Roundup River Ranch! We’ll raise a toast to two decades of Roundup River Ranch at A Grateful Harvest.Join us at camp for our biggest fundraiser event of the year, A Grateful Harvest, on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 5 p.m.! Gather in Trent’s Cookhouse for a celebratory evening featuring cocktails, hors d-oeuvres, and an exquisite four-course dinner prepared by some of the Vail Valley’s most renowned local chefs. This anniversary year is especially meaningful as we gather at A Grateful Harvest to honor Ruth Johnson, President Emeritus, with the Paul Newman Legacy Award. The Paul Newman Legacy Award celebrates individuals who, like Paul Newman, have made a lasting commitment to the long-term sustainability of camp.

VOLUNTEER AT FAMILY CAMP. We need more volunteers this fall!

Support meaningful moments for families by volunteering at Family Camp weekend. Step into the traditional “camp counselor” role – Family Camp edition! As a Ranch Hand Volunteer, you’ll provide hands-on support and guidance for campers and their families throughout their time at camp.

JOIN OUR S’MORE CAMP T-SHIRT CHALLENGE (SEPT. 14-18)

The week of September 14-18, 2026, get ready to rock your favorite Roundup River Ranch camp t-shirt and raise money for campers! Snap. Share. Support Camp. We have 5 days to reach 100 posts! Thanks to a longtime generous supporter, we’ll receive $200 for every post we get. If we reach 100 posts, Abercrombie & Fitch will match our $20,000 goal, doubling it to $40,000 for camp! This is an easy way to support children with life-altering diagnoses and their families by simply posting a picture in your favorite camp t-shirt! Stay tuned!
