“I just want to say, thank you. After dropping Audra off at camp, I became overwhelmed on my drive back home. At first, I thought it was because this will be the first time I have gone five days without speaking to her. But quickly realized it was an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and relief that I was experiencing.
Roundup River Ranch seemed like such a mystical place even up to the day that she was accepted – too good to be true. But then it became even more magical in reality. It wasn’t until the nurses spent time learning about Audra and when one of the nurses said, ‘she isn’t alone,’ that I truly understood that this is a safe space – an entire camp full of other children just like her and grown-ups who care.
Thank you for making space for me to tell you about her. Thank you for making it safe to leave her in your care. Thank you for giving her a life-changing experience.
With all the gratitude,“
