Happy Train Day!! 🚞 We love trains at Roundup River Ranch. While camp is in session, we love to wave at the passengers on the trains and get the locomotive engineers to give a big honk to say hello! 👋
With the railroad tracks running right past camp, trains have been incorporated into the design of our campsite. The Depot is designed to look like a train station, with the nurses station shaped like a caboose! We also have The Benny which was donated to camp and serves as a library for campers. 🚂 #NationalTrainDay
We are looking forward to A Taste of Camp TONIGHT in Denver! We are excited to gather with so many friends and supporters in our community to celebrate the impact of camp while raising funds to ensure camp programs continue to be completely free for our campers and their families. 🩵

Our last Club Online of the spring wrapped up with Green Scene Makers in April! 💚 Each camper received their very own LIVE CATERPILLAR! 🐛 They also received supplies to care for their caterpillars as they transformed into beautiful butterflies. Each week, campers reported on the progress their caterpillars had made, and then got to release their butterflies out into nature! 🦋
The caterpillars were given creative names, including Lazy 1 & Lazy 2, Bacon & Eggs, Mad & Ziggle, Lazy & Sleepy, Lady Lily Leigha, Space and Jam, Frederick, Phineas and Ferb, Bill caterpillar, and Catty the caterpillar!
Throughout the month, campers got to watch the incredible process of metamorphosis, learn all about caterpillars and butterflies, as well as do lots of cool butterfly related crafts and activities!
We`re already looking forward to Club Online in the fall!
