Here at camp, there are so many superheroes in our community! 🦸 👏 From our campers to volunteers, and our staff to our donors, the strength of our community comes from the combined power of all of our superheroes. Today is #NationalSuperheroDay, and each year at A Taste of Camp, we recognize one of our supporters with the Superhero Award.

This year, we are recognizing Greer and Jack Gardner with the 2025 Superhero Award. From serving as dedicated Board Members to rolling up their sleeves as volunteers, Greer and Jack have contributed their time, talent, and treasure to ensure that camp remains free, fun, and medically safe for every camper who needs it. ❤️

On National Superhero Day, we also want to shine a light on our previous Superhero Award Recipients for their support and for leading Roundup River Ranch to where we are today.

Volunteers for Summer Camp dedicate an entire week of their summer! ☀️ From Cabin Leaders and Nurses, to Residential Life Assistants, and Providers, their support truly makes camp possible.

Family Camp Volunteers R-O-C-K! 🪨❤️ They gladly give up their weekend to make camp the most magical, fun-filled experience for entire families! We`re especially thankful today as we kick off our first Family Camp of 2025! 🥳💜

👋 Ranch Hands support our families and programs throughout the weekend, stepping in wherever needed and spending valuable time with families in their cabins.
🩺 Medical volunteers provide crucial medical coverage to keep campers and their families safe and healthy.
🧑‍🍳Kitchen volunteers help prepare nutritious and delicious food for everyone onsite.
💧 Resident Life Assistants support behind the scenes with anything that needs to be done in the moment.

Volunteer week spotlight: Roundup Reset & Refresh, and service project groups! 🥳 These groups are often local organizations or businesses looking to give back together. They truly do so much necessary behind-the-scenes hard work around our campsite that we couldn`t do on our own!

Roundup Reset and Refresh teams come out to camp after our Family Camp and Summer Camp sessions to get all of camp prepared for the next session. They make sure the cabins and staff lodge are sparkling clean and ready for the next group of campers and volunteers to arrive! 🧹🧽🫧🧺

Other volunteer groups want to give back through specific service projects, such as building a beautiful garden bed. 🌸 Some arrive ready to help with whatever types of projects need to be completed around camp at that time!

We are so thankful for the groups that bring many hands to complete tasks that make camp even more beautiful and better for our community!
