Embrace Joy and Join the Movement Today!
The Embrace Joy Movement is where camp, creativity, and community come together. Celebrate You (yeah, we’re looking at you—create a fundraiser for your birthday, wedding, or any other personal accomplishment), Host an Event (it’s your party you can do what you want to — host an yoga class, a bingo night, or your own style of event), Get Active (see that mountain over there—it needs climbing or run that half marathon—fundraise for your next physical feat), or Freestyle (you can’t camp dance wrong—fundraise in your own style!) to raise funds and awareness for Roundup River Ranch. Whatever you do, do it with joy to provide opportunities for children with serious illnesses to discover joy, friendships, and confidence! Start your own fundraiser or join one of our feature events below!

Join the Roundup River Ranch family at one of our team events.
From S’More Camp T-Shirt Challenge to Driving for Kids, we have an event for everyone.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and here at Roundup River Ranch we know how important mental health is. 💚 That is why yesterday our seasonal staff spent the day doing Youth Mental Health First Aid training with SpeakUpReachOut.
Through this training, they are now certified mental health first-aiders through the @nationalcouncil. We recognize the importance of mental health education and the role we can play in the lives of the children we serve, which is why this training was so important for our seasonal staff who provide direct care to our campers all summer long.
Here at Roundup River Ranch, we create an environment for our campers to practice resilience and build relationships. These are considered protective factors, which actually counteract risk factors and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)! From prevention, to intervention, to postvention, they are prepared to recognize signs and symptoms of a mental health crisis and assess how to help our campers.
HUGE thanks to Walter, Darla, and Kirby with @speakupreachoutec for leading our seasonal staff through the course and for making this training possible. #YouthMentalHealth #MentalHealthEducation #MentalHealthFirstAid

From the vibrant canopy of the rainforest to the delighted cheers inside of a Big Top carnival tent, we can`t wait to see our campers experience the magic of camp this summer!

We got that Friday feelin` cause we get to introduce you to Carly, our full-time, year-round Behavioral Health Manager. 🤗
"I was drawn to the mission of RRR because of the opportunity for all of the campers, families, volunteers, staff, donors (and more!) to have fun and embrace joy through the work of RRR."
So far, Carly`s biggest takeaway is the commitment of the team to build connections with everyone at camp. She`s most excited for the camp season to officially start, and getting to see the magic that happens here! ✨
"My role as the Behavioral Health Manager entails supporting campers and families with any social emotional needs. I also am collaborating with RRR staff and the medical advisory committee to support campers with behavioral health diagnoses."
Her favorite guidepost is "Superheroes are everywhere". 🦸
We are ecstatic to have Carly on board to support year-round programs from a Behavioral Health standpoint, jumping right in to prepare for Summer Camp and Family Camp season! Help us give Carly a warm camp welcome! 🫶
