REALIZING THAT
YOU HAVEN’T
BELLY-LAUGHED
THIS HARD SINCE
YOU WERE A KID.
THAT’S THE
POWER OF CAMP.
Volunteer
YOU THINK CAMP IS POWERFUL FOR OUR CAMPERS? IT’S JUST AS LIFE-CHANGING FOR VOLUNTEERS.
Each year, we rely on the support of hundreds of incredible volunteers who bring The Power of Camp to life, both at our campsite in the mountains and through our Outreach Programs. Volunteers come from all walks of life: community members, families, corporate groups, and medical professionals. No matter what your experience or skills, if you have a passion for helping campers and their families, we’ll find a way for you to join in all the joy.
FAST FACTS:
- What’s your passion? Our volunteer jobs offer a big range of ways to make a difference, from being a cabin counselor to providing medical care, to being the loudest cheerleader for camp activities. See volunteer opportunities>
- You literally power camp. Since no camper ever pays a penny to attend Roundup River Ranch, our volunteers are truly what make it all possible. Our volunteers save us over $160,000 per session. That is a lot of priceless life-changing experiences you’re about to make happen.
- Volunteers change lives. Our volunteers lead by example, value and support each other, cheer for each other’s successes and join forces as innovators and leaders. They help kids and families discover their own powers, conquer fears and leave camp feeling more confident than ever.
- Powerful for you, too. Every volunteer helps create life-changing moments for campers and their families. And while they give so much, our volunteers tell us they receive just as much in return – from making lifelong friends to carrying home memories that inspire them for years to come.

WHO KNEW I HAD THE POWER?
“I don’t really know that much about tutu-wearing. I’m honestly not crafty. And fishing is not my vibe. But when I was in a cabin full of happy, goofy kids who wanted me to join in, I realized my super power was just being here for them.”
