Donor-Advised Funds

Generous people like you fuel the work of Roundup River Ranch.

Roundup River Ranch is eligible to receive gifts from DAFs (personal charitable vehicles established at a public charity like a community foundation or financial institution).

Benefits of giving donations through DAFs include:

• An immediate tax deduction upon contributing to your DAF.
• Grow your donation tax-free using the various investment vehicles of your community foundation or financial institution.
• The option to grant specific amounts to the charities of your choice (like Roundup River Ranch) at a later time.
• A centralized record-keeping system.

Please keep in mind, gifts from Donor-Advised Funds do not typically qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit. Consult with your tax advisor to learn more.

Based on the National Philanthropic Trust 2019 Donor-Advised Fund Report, grantmaking from DAFs to qualified charities totaled more than $25 billion in 2019, a 93% increase over since 2015. The same rapid growth trajectory also applies to contributions to DAFs, which totaled $38.81 billion in 2019. That equates to significant investments that can be made to support philanthropic causes in our communities, like Roundup River Ranch.
