Operations Support
There are so many meaningful ways to give your time and support the heart of camp – both on the grounds of our campsite and out in the community. Operations Support roles help power our special events, keep camp running smoothly, and bring joy to campers through our Outreach Programs. These are typicallyday-volunteer rolesandmay not require the full application process and training needed for our residential program volunteers.
Event Support or Administrative
Help create unforgettable moments at Roundup River Ranch’s signature events! As an Event Support Volunteer, you’ll help events run smoothly by assisting with:
- Event setup and teardown
- Guest check-in and registration
- Hospitality and guest engagement
- Onsite logistics and behind-the-scenes support
If you love people, energy, and keeping things running seamlessly, this role is a great fit! Event or Admin Support Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Facilities Support
(Day Volunteer or Residential as housing allows)
If you enjoy hands-on projects, this is the perfect way to support the magic of camp. Facilities Volunteers help our team with day-to-day upkeep of our beautiful campsite, including:
- Kitchen and dish room support
- Floor cleaning and cookhouse assistance
- Small maintenance tasks
- Landscaping: mowing, trimming, weeding, plant care
- Special projects based on your skills and interests
- This role keeps camp safe, clean, and ready for every camper who arrives.
Outreach Programs Support
Help bring camp experiences to campers all year long – near and far! Outreach Volunteers can support programs such as:
- Outreach Box Builder: Help assemble and pack activity boxes sent directly to campers, families, and Camp In Your Community partners. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old.
- Howdy Hangouts: Join our team in Denver or along the Front Range for pop-up camp programs or events that bring our mission to new and existing families. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and complete our volunteer requirements, vaccine requirements, and background check.
- Camp Online: Join as a counselor for fun, interactive monthly camp club sessions. Volunteers must be at least 19 years old.
Each Outreach role helps deliver joy, connection, and camp magic beyond our physical site.
Requirements for Camp Online Program Volunteers:
- Online Volunteer application
- Interview/check-in with RRR Staff
- Volunteer Agreements and Policies
- Volunteer Criminal Background Check
- Vital Camp Online Training
- CDHS Background Inquiry Check (repeated every 5 years)
- Fingerprint Background Check (repeated every 5 years)
