Kids and Cars – Thank you Driving for Kids!

Fundraiser raises over $86K for camp!

Car and camp enthusiasts united for the 6th annual Driving for Kids event from September 24-27, 2021, to raise money for Roundup River Ranch campers with serious illnesses and their families.

Based on similar events in the UK, Driving for Kids is the Colorado version of a British Reliability Run. Begun in Britain when cars were first introduced, these reliability runs, like the London to Brighton Run, were quite a challenge for the newfangled horseless carriage. Nowadays, it’s a nostalgic tribute to the spirit of “motoring”. Driving for Kids is a fun weekend with fellow owners of old British cars orchestrated by Ann and Ross Robbins to combine two things they cherish: kids and cars.

This year, 15 teams put the pedal to the metal and raised $86,448 (and counting!) to support camp. In total, Driving for Kids participants have provided the funding needed for more than 120 children to experience the healing power of camp.
