2024 Vaccination Updates

We are in full preparation and excited for Summer 2024! We are writing to let you know about changes regarding our COVID vaccine requirements. Roundup River Ranch will no longer require the COVID vaccine for campers, families, staff, or volunteers. Because of the population of children we serve, we will still strongly and highly recommend the COVID vaccine to protect yourself and our camp community.

This decision comes after extensive discussion between our Roundup River Ranch Medical Advisory Committee and Infectious Disease Subcommittee. This change is also in alignment with the current policy for UCHealth University of Colorado hospitals, our camps across the SeriousFun Children’s Network, and the CDC recommendation. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our Medical Team with any concerns or questions you may have.

Please keep in mind that vaccinations and boosters remain safe, and effective tools against infectious diseases. They can significantly minimize the chances of serious illness, hospitalization and death related to COVID. We will still require the standard immunizations listed in our camper application. The COVID vaccine is currently the only vaccine that is changing from requirement to highly recommended.

As always, we will continue to keep a close eye on the trends with COVID and other infectious diseases carefully. We will be in touch with any updates related to future changes, including any decisions related to COVID testing if necessary. At Roundup River Ranch, Campers are #1 and we are committed to fostering a safe environment for our campers, families, volunteers and staff.
