Roundup River Ranch is making lemonade out of lemons and changing our programs to meet the needs of our awe-inspiring campers with serious illnesses. We will continue to impact our broader community by pivoting to a virtual camp experience from now through our July Summer Camps. Check out some of our new and innovative programming:
| 1. Here We Go Online! Roundup River Ranch will host Family Camp 1 and offer six virtual summer camps that will each remain focused on serving specific diagnostic groups, so campers are surrounded by others who understand and have similar journeys. Children will get to experience the healing power of camp from their homes, hospital rooms or other places they are staying safe during these uncertain times. The virtual camps will deliver all the things we love about traditional on-site programming via a safe online experience. Campers will receive a Camp Kit with all the camp program supplies they need for our interactive, inspiring, reflective, and active programming. |  |
| 2. Joy, Delivered is an amazing out-of-the box camp experience to continue to engage and support those families who choose not to participate, or are unable to participate, in a virtual opportunity. It will provide the supplies to enjoy the fun on a family’s own schedule with access to pre-recorded materials and videos. We know that an online experience is not for everyone, and we want camp to reach all of our campers in 2020! The magic and joy of camp will be delivered with supplies, activities, and opportunities to experience the joy of camp independently. 3. Virtual Camper Reunions are coming soon! Our goal is to give campers and their families a feeling of connection during a time of isolation. Virtual Camper Reunions will be a variety of experiences for the camp family to join online and connect as a part of the Roundup River Ranch community!
