What makes Roundup River Ranch so extraordinary?

We make campers with life-altering diagnoses feel like ordinary kids. Giggling, laughing, conspiring, arrow-shooting, horseback-riding, art-creating kids. We help campers and their families enjoy the gift of extraordinarily joyful moments, lasting friendships, newfound courage, and memories that remain long after the last s’more is devoured.

We are part of the SeriousFun Children’s Network, a global community of medical specialty camps founded by Paul Newman. He believed that kids with serious illnesses needed a place to “kick back and raise a little hell.” And we couldn’t agree more.

This Colorado Gives Day, give kids like Paige and camper alumni like Everett the chance to experience life-changing joy.

At Roundup River Ranch, campers with life-altering diagnoses aren’t defined by their illness. They create connection, embrace joy, foster independence, and build hope through our free, medically-supported camp programs.

Your gift makes it possible. Donate by midnight on December 9 at ColoradoGives.org/RoundupRiverRanch to have your gift doubled and help us reach 200 gifts in 24 hours! Colorado residents may also be eligible for up to a 50% state tax credit through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit.
Help us welcome Mere as our new Camp Outreach Fellow! After working at camp for two years as a Program Leader, Mere has joined our full-time, year round team, aiming to make a difference and promote the growth of camp near and far! 🎯

In Mere’s words, her goal is “making sure as many people get to experience camp as possible and keeping camp as awesome as possible for everyone!” She’ll work on Outreach Programs in the front range throughout the year, and also support onsite camp programs during the summer. ☀️

She was drawn to the Roundup River Ranch due to its focus on accessible programming and providing fun and joy to everyone. Mere has volunteered at SeriousFun camps since 2023 and interned for the SeriousFun Children's Network this past year.

“Accessibility is something I really value, so when I learned about the SeriousFun Children's Network, I knew I wanted to get involved,” Mere said.

Her favorite guidepost is “Superheroes are everywhere,” drawing from her day-to-day experience leading programs at Summer Camp. Mere is excited to bring the power of camp to life in her new role at Roundup River Ranch, and we are super excited to have her on the team! 💗
