THE POWER OF PURE
CHILDHOOD JOY
Camp programs have the extraordinary power to make kids with life-altering diagnoses feel like ordinary kids.
The fortitude of fun.
The strength of silliness.
The boldness that
comes from belonging.
When a child with a life-altering diagnosis experiences camp, it lights a fire inside them and they discover they have the power to take on life in bold, joyful new ways. It ignites an “I can do it” belief, as they discover that they are strong and resilient. And, it fuels entire families with inspiration and hope.

Our volunteers fuel fun and friendships and get a powerful amount of love and inspiration in return.
Your donation not only makes all of our camp experiences possible, it makes them FREE to every camper.

On #MLKDay, we remember Dr. King`s powerful call to action, "Everybody can be great because everybody can serve."
We know Roundup River Ranch wouldn`t be the same without the great people that have served our mission over the years, so today we reflect on the impact of our community and volunteers, and share our gratitude for each one of you.
Our community is truly filled with so many great people who serve camp in so many ways. Whether volunteering for a service project behind the scenes, supporting camp online, or spending a session at camp directly supporting our campers - your service makes a difference and makes our camp community so special. 🫶
February will bring back our third year of Love Yo` Self Club! We’re kicking off 2026 Camp Online with Love Yo` Self for both Camp Club Online and Teen Club Online. What better way to celebrate February than with a little self-love? 🥰
Last year, we explored self-care through art, movement, and recipes, using activities to encourage campers to love and take care of themselves. They`re also encouraged to share the love by showing appreciation for the people in their lives. This club continues to build a community of friends that campers connect with throughout the year! And that’s just a small taste of what Camp Club Online and Teen Club Online have in store for our upcoming sessions. 💓
Both clubs will take place on Tuesdays (10th, 17th, and 24th) at 7 PM MT in February. Register by Monday, Jan. 26 on Campsite at RoundupRiverRanch.CampManagement.com/p/campers

Volunteers come from many different places and job fields to spend time at Roundup River Ranch, and we love hearing all of their stories! 💓 We talked with Volunteer Lauren, who came through our Abercrombie & Fitch partnership, about her experience as a first-time Cabin Leader Volunteer at camp. To see more of Lauren’s story, read her blog post at RoundupRiverRanch.org/Blog or view the longer version of her interview on our YouTube Channel: YouTube.com/RoundupRiverRanch ✨🔗
It’s impasta-ble not to laugh when you’re at camp! 🍝
Start your crockpots and sprinkle in that spice… It’s chili season, and our staff brings the HEAT! 👩🍳🌶️ Yesterday, we hosted our 4th Annual Staff Chili Cookoff, recognizing our greatest chili and chili-adjacent recipes. We welcomed judges with some of the best taste buds in town... Mike Luark, Doug Rapier, Kathie and Bob Shafer, and Nicole and Max Avery! 😋
Our 2026 People’s Choice Chili-Adjacent Dish Winner was Katie, our Assistant Camp Director, with her incredible chicken dip! Our official 2026 Chili Cookoff Champion was… Samantha, our Events Manager! 🏆
Who knew we had so many talented chili cooks at camp? Congratulations to all participants in our 4th Chili Cookoff. We are full of pride (and chili) thanks to our fantastic team! 💗
