Every Thursday in September, campers gathered online to discover the joys of painting during Camp Club online! 🎨 Each week, they tapped into their creativity (and maybe a bit of messiness) to create beautiful masterpieces! Activities included Salt Painting, String Painting, Cork Stamps, Painting Flowerpots, and more!

Each activity had guidelines to point campers in the right direction, while also encouraging them to experiment, have fun, and make it their own! As one counselor shared, “you can’t camp ART wrong!”

Campers and counselors worked together to brainstorm ideas, and share their progress along the way!

September is #CraniofacialAcceptanceMonth. In the United States, approximately 600,000 individuals are diagnosed with a craniofacial condition. While cleft lip and palate is one of the most common and well-known craniofacial anomalies, there are many others including apert syndrome, craniosynostosis, Crouzon syndrome, and more.

Did you know? We serve children with craniofacial conditions for a week-long Summer Camp. This session is focused on campers with similar medical conditions, so they’re surrounded by others who understand what they are going through and can have shared experiences... completely free of charge.

With the theme of "The Future is Inclusive", we encourage you to take a moment today to consider how you can be inclusive of those with facial differences. #ChooseKind 💜

Did you know about 9,910 children in the U.S. under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2023? The average age of a child diagnosed with cancer is eight years old. During #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth, we honor the absolute courage of children who fight cancer and other serious illnesses every day – as well as their loved ones who support them. It's a privilege to be able to provide life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses so they can experience the ordinary joys of childhood…always free of charge. 💛
